Overall Fantasy Outlook

For 2024:

It is impossible to not be excited about the potential of this offense. Last season was a huge disappointment after a 10-0 start. The offense became predictable and the locker room was reported to be fairly toxic. Kellen Moore has been brought in to change the offense and I believe he will be a great addition. He’s a proven higher end OC as far as stats and fantasy results and this offense is the most talented he’s ever had to work with.

AJ Brown WR6 9th Ovr

Prior to the Eagles second half meltdown AJB was on fire. He remains the alpha in the offense and I am perfectly fine taking him in the later first. Mock drafts where I take AJB at 8-9 have come out as some of the best looking teams I’ve done all offseason.

Saquon Barkley RB6 13 Ovr

Barkley was the major addition this offseason. He has never had the opportunity to play behind a top caliber offensive line nor a QB or skill players of this high quality.

Barkley’s ADP is quite high because of this and he may be being drafted at his ceiling. I find myself avoiding Barkley at his price. I don’t think he is a bad pick but I also don’t think there is much meat left on the bone at his ADP

Jalen Hurts QB3 34th Ovr

Hurts has been a force for fantasy football since becoming a starter. He benefits greatly from the tush push and his dynamic WRs. I generally don’t take QBs early in redraft but anything beyond the middle 3rd is a great place to take Hurts. The Kellen Moore offense will likely lead to the most pass attempts Hurts has ever thrown.

Devonta Smith WR24 48th Ovr

The Slim Reaper is my personal favorite player so it’s hard for me not to be all in on him. That aside, I do love him in the late 4th early 5th and I draft him in mocks often. Smith has a fantastic football IQ and does everything a WR needs at the highest level. He improvises for Jalen Hurts and comes up with clutch receptions regularly. If AJB or Goedert miss any games Smith is a candidate to be a top 3 WR that week. Anything from the middle 4th or beyond is a great pick.

Dallas Goedert TE12 104 Ovr

Goedert has fallen into the range of last TE drafted or even a streaming option. He is likely to have a few random big games and if either top WR misses time he would be a top 12 option for sure. I generally draft Friermuth or Schultz if I am the final team to take a TE so Goedert has become an avoid for me.

Other players worth noting

WR Jahan Dotson was just acquired from the Commanders. He is of no consequence with Brown and Smith healthy but he would be a huge waiver add if either missed time.

RB Will Shipley has had a very solid preseason and looks to be the clear handcuff to Barkley if you like having the insurance policy on your top RBs

That’s all I have on the 2024 Eagles
